Comment: What is Socialism

I commented on What is Socialism with the following:

Marx was a smart guy, particularly on his analysis of class. But, imo, his conclusions are all wrong. He observed literal communes and abstracted that system as a model for his ideal state. Communes only work when you're personally invested in the others of your community. Families as communes are a good example: you as a producer are willing to work for the benefit of your children. When you (as a producer) are robbed by the state to provide for someone you don't know, and may not even like were you to get to know them, you start to look for alternate states where you can retain a larger portion of your productivity, and retain the freedom to produce primarily for yourself and the people you know and care about.

Why Democrats Want Gun Control?

I'm Taking This With a Grain of Salt ...

But I still want to share it with you: Investigating Obama

Even though I agree with it, can't say Rupert Murdoch isn't pulling the strings here.

95% Tax Means a Class Ceiling

As Paul Simon wrote, there's a "loose affiliation of millionares and billionares, baby". We know that there's an unprecedented wealth disparity right now in the US. Bush and Paulson are busy increasing that gap and maybe pulling a few good old boys up while pushing a few undesirables down. So it seems like an Obama progressive tax would help things out, right? Wrong.

All it does is create a mote around the elite, because it's an income tax. If you already have obscene wealth, you're not actually working. You might pay a capital gains tax on stock that you sell. You will not be paying an income tax. Only workers pay an income tax.

So let's say I've studied hard to become a great computer programmer. My skills are in extreme demand because there are few people who can do what I do. But no matter how much my employer pays me, I can't afford a nice house in the bay area, or my dream car; becuase each additional dollar I earn gets taxed more.

My neighbor can, though, and I wonder why. I find out that he was a banker during the subprime bailout and received huge bonuses as Bush left office because he was a friend of Paulson's. He doesn't work now, he just lives off of the interest of his money, which isn't taxed like mine, occasionally investing in a company that Obama is creating tax credits or providing federal funding for - because they're the only ones that can survive in a socialist economy. Most of his money he moved over seas because that's where quality workers, like me, are moving, to get the money we rightly deserve. I don't want to move, so I surrender to the idea that I'll never break through the ceiling. I become depressed and produce less, which is bad for everyone.

Damn, I liked Paulson, too

I believe that the risk takers (including Mr. Risk) should be held accountable for their failed business practices. This means that the banks should have (should still) fail, and that CEOs (even ex-CEOs), executives in general, and shareholders need to shoulder the burden they created, not pass it off to the American public.

Kenyans Sacrifice Goats for Successful Obama Invasion of US

You can't make this stuff up.

Communism Outside of the Commune

I didn't quite realize the scope of Obama's wealth redistribution plans: http://www.nypost.com/seven/11012008/postopinion/opedcolumnists/share_the_wealth_with_the_world__136288.htm. Apparently, he want's to send Joe's wealth to the third world. Or maybe he wants to help his Kenyan relatives buy more slaves (once the Brits give up).

The Irony of Vengeful, Racist, US Slave Decendants Who Vote For Obama

Kenya, the country of Obama's father, ended slavery in the late 1800's, due to pressure from the British government: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya. Note that the American Civil War ended in 1865. Before Britain stopped them, the Kenyans sold slaves to Arabs and whites. Therefore, it's very likely that some slaves sold in America were originally enslaved by relations of Obama, and that relations of McCain helped end that practice.

Daughter of slave votes

Note: Obama's father was a politician (ruler) from Kenya, and was not a descendant of American slaves.

Proof that in Kindergarten He Shared Some Toys

What a politician! Way to frame the argument, again. Not only does he not answer the socialism question, but to even pose the question means that you're an unfriendly hard core Sean Hannity fan.

Oh, and sharing your toys isn't socialism. Neither is sharing the wealth that you've fairly earned. Socialism, the kind Obama is part of, is taking wealth from those who produced it and giving it to others. It's like trading part of your lunch for one lego piece a day, then building a castle (or spaceship, or whatever you like to build), then having the teacher come over and break up your creation to make sure everyone gets a lego piece. If you want to give your legos away, that's fine - but stealing your legos is wrong.

He does the same thing here, note that he still does not say that he does not support socialism, but blames McCain for calling him a socialist. He's such a good politician, that he's able to call McCain's accurate portrayal of his economic philosophies a smear campaign.
